| The Club was
established in 1868. We have been at our present site since just after World War II. The Village run four sides both days of the weekend and are always on the lookout for new players. As well as adult sides we run colts from the age of under 10 through to under 17. Both elevens are currently in Division One of the Championship. We are the current holders of the league cup. We were the first winners of the cup, and now have won it more times than anyone else(4). This from a club who did not want to enter originally for fears of fixture congestion. |
We pride ourselves on our sociability as well as having a
beautiful ground set in acres of farmland as well as having a ‘character’
clubhouse.
In addition to the cricket we run six football sides during the winter as well as a
veterans XI.
